TEASI-ARTISTS’ LABORATORY ist die von Susanne Kienbaum 2010 initiierte und Ausstellungsreihe der TEASI-ARTISTS.
Während nach außen hin der Ort – K: S-p-a-c-e Berlin – und die Ausstellungen wie eine professionelle Galerie in Erscheinung treten, wird im Innenverhältnis in Projektarbeit ähnlich gearbeitet wie eine temporäre Produzentengalerie: alle anfallenden Arbeiten, die neben den Galerie-typischen Arbeiten (Auf- und Abbau) zu tun sind, werden in Projektteamsitzungen gemeinsam besprochen, verteilt oder gemeinsam erledigt.
Die kuratorische Arbeit wird zur Zeit geteilt, die kuratorische Endverantwortung liegt zur Zeit bei Susanne Kienbaum. In Zukunft ist eine Entlastung bezogen auf Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und sonstige kuratorische Arbeit geplant durch eine projektbezogene Zusammenarbeit mit externen Kuratoren oder Galeristen, entsprechende Anfragen sind herzlich willkommen!
TEASI-ARTISTS LABORATORY is the exhibition series initiated by Susanne Kienbaum since 2010.
Viewed from outside both the exhibition space – K: S-p-a-c-e Berlin – and the exhibitions theirselves appear more like a gallery than a studio situation. However, internally the exhibitions projects are rather functioning like a temporary production gallery: all work apart from the gallery-typical work – hanging etc – is shared according to joint project team meetings.
Currently the curatorial work is shared within the respective project team, the final responsibility lies with Susanne Kienbaum. For the future it is planned to share project-related public relation work and other curatorial duties with an external curator or galerist, respective requests are highly welcome!
